ABOUT ME...

I’m Robbie — a fantasy and indie artist from County Durham, creating across multiple mediums including drawing, writing, worldbuilding, and photography. Art has always been the place where I feel most myself, especially as someone who’s neurodivergent and never connected with academic paths. My love for fantasy began with a single village I created years ago, which grew into a vast, ever‑changing world that continues to inspire everything I make. I draw from the landscapes of the North East, British folklore, nature, geography, architecture, and my photography trips to places like Alderney and Oban.I founded Robwoods Worlds (and Robwoods Maps & Mysteries on my socials) in November 2025, wanting to build something meaningful, handcrafted, and rooted in passion. I wanted a space where my worldbuilding, art, photography, and tabletop projects could live together, and where creativity felt welcoming rather than overwhelming. Creating this business gave me a place to share the kind of maps and tools I always wished existed — clear, expressive, and accessible for everyone.My work focuses on clarity, accessibility, and imagination. I create fantasy maps, battlemaps, art prints, photography prints, and tabletop goods — all designed to be visually clean, atmospheric, and easy to use. I also write and publish books, including The Isle of Clon, a small sandbox inspired by island settlements, eerie vampiric legends, and North East folklore. Everything I make is crafted to help new players, seasoned Game Masters, fantasy fans, and neurodivergent players feel immersed and supported, without the clutter or confusion that often pushes people away from tabletop games.My mission is simple: to create clear, accessible, imaginative tools that spark creativity and help people dive fully into their worlds. Robwoods Worlds is built from passion, landscapes, stories, and the joy of worldbuilding — and I’m proud to share it with you.
